The property lies in the heart of Tuscany, halfway between two valleys rich in culture, natural beauty and excellent food and wine.  The landholding is made up of two complementary parts. The first is the estate proper, with its orchards and cultivated land, includes a fully operational organic farm, with organic olive oil as its most regarded product. The second, a large resort, made up of six luxury apartments and several hospitality facilities, is the ideal backdrop for weddings, receptions and other memorable events.

    Pienza

Pienza is a tiny village in southern Tuscany in the beautifual valley called Val D'Orcia. The village is located a few kilometers to the west of Montepulciano amidst gentle undulating hills and wonderful natural landscapes with extraordinary views. This charming village is widely known as the "ideal city of the Renaissance", the creation of the great humanist Enea Silvio Piccolomini who later became Pope Pius II. Pienza is also the city of cacio, which means cheese! The Pecorino of Pienza is a tasty cheese made from sheep's milk, renowned worldwide and delicious, which can go from a delicate flavor to a decisive one based on how aged it is.

    Montepulciano

Standing high atop a hill in southern Tuscany only 9 short miles from Pienza, Montepulciano is a medieval town of rare beauty. It is well known for its Renaissance buildings and lovely churches. Along with the elegant Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, charming squares and hidden corners, Montepulciano boasts vast panoramas all over the wonderful Val D'Orcia and Val di Chiana valleys that surround it. Montepulciano is especially renowned for its wines. It is most famous for its noble wine called Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. This high-level vintage is made from Tuscan sangiovese grapes, and there are plenty of wineries where you can sample it.

    Siena

Siena is likely Italy's loveliest medieval city and is located 1 hour from the Borgo Sant'Ambrogio. Few geographical areas in the world boast the variety of environment that surrounds Siena. To the north, we have the richness of the Chianti landscape, woven with vines and olive-trees throughout the hills. South of Siena, the Arbia valley leads to the hill-top town of Montalcino, home to the famous Brunello wine. Westwards we head towards the coast, to captivitating coastline towns and nature reserves like the area called Maremma. With such natural beauty within easy reach by car or public transport, Siena is a good place to base yourself for a Tuscan experience.
